All Bible Reading Plans

Welcome!

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

About the Bible Reading Plans

We search the Internet for all the Bible reading plans we can find.

And then we post them here for all to use.

Simple as that.

Now for a little more explanation: All. Bible. Reading Plans.

All. By "all" we really do mean all--all that we can find, compare (to eliminate duplicates), and post here on this site. However, please note that the main focus of this site is for "All Bible" Reading Plans, that is, plans for the Entire Bible.

  • There are countless reading plans for Bible portions, especially individual Bible books. I have tried to post at least one on this site for each Bible book.
  • You can also use BibleHub to get a reading plan for each book at https://biblehub.com/reading/. Simply go to that link, click the pull-down menu "Choose a Reading Plan," pick the book you want, and off you go. It simply takes you through each book, a chapter a day. As examples, the plans for Numbers and Ezekiel on this site are from BibleHub.
  • You could also use "Bible Reading Plan Generator" (described at the bottom of the Introduction page of this site) to create your own at https://biblereadingplangenerator.com/.

Bible. By "Bible" we mean the Protestant Christian Bible.

  • That Bible has 66 books, the Hebrew Bible has 24 books, and the Catholic Bible has 73 books.
  • I plan to come back later and include plans for the Deuterocanonical books as well. Until then, go to the bottom of the Introduction page and look for the description of Bible Reading Plan Generator, which includes the option to add Deuterocanonical books, or go straight to their website at https://biblereadingplangenerator.com/.

Reading Plans. By "reading plans" we mean schedules that map out how to read through all or part of the actual Bible text itself. This is a Bible Reading Plan site, not a Bible study site.

  • However, some of these plans do include Bible study notes, and although that is not our focus for this site, we have included them because they also have a Bible Reading Plan.
  • Disclaimer: We do not endorse any of the Bible study notes, so reader beware.

About Us

First, Glory to God for giving us the Bible--His Word to us!

The Holy Spirit used many people in that process of bringing His Word to us.

Second, the work of producing Bible reading plans is also a joint effort.

Many people have participated in creating Bible reading plans over the years.

We follow in their train--Many people have participated in bringing these plans to my attention.

If you have a Bible reading plan that is not listed here, please send it to me at AllBiblePlans@gmail.com.

As for me, I have spent about 30 years producing various Bible reading plans.

And I am not just a plan-producer but a Bible-reader.

Also, I am a Christian pastor who has endeavored to find better ways to lead people into and through the Bible through various reading plans.

Now I am praying that this growing collection of plans will help even more people read God's Word.

So, try various plans to see which one is sustainable for you--what plan keeps you reading?

Remember to pray as you read since the Holy Spirit must help you interpret His Word correctly.

Also, remember that the goal is not to get through the Word, so much as for God to get through the Word to you!

Christ's richest blessings in your reading of His Word!

"Your servant for Jesus' Sake" (2 Cor. 4:5b)
